Today my neck tattoo is two years old! It’s the logo for my zine birdsong/the birdsong collective, and was drawn/designed by my good friend Cara long before I had an idea to rope our friends together to make something. It’s been almost a year since we made a zine (after doing them every other month and making broadsheets and mini’s and having shows and benefits and readings back in 2008/9/10). I’ve started putting together a new issue & want to do an old fashioned release party with readers, bands, art and everything (in a few months). When I say I want to do something, it gets done so stay tuned!
